In a world where businesses compete for seconds of attention online, standing out has become more difficult than ever. Consumers scroll endlessly through social media feeds, advertisements appear everywhere, and competition continues to grow across every industry. Yet amid the noise, Brand New Promotions believes the most effective marketing still comes down to one thing: creating meaningful and memorable connections.
For nearly a decade, the company has helped businesses strengthen their visibility through branded apparel, promotional products, marketing materials, and strategic brand support. But according to founder Raul Lara, the mission has always been bigger than simply printing logos on merchandise.
“The goal was to make things simpler and easier for businesses and organizations when it came to branded apparel and promotional products,” Lara explained.
That vision has shaped Brand New Promotions into a one-stop promotional marketing partner that focuses not only on products, but on helping businesses communicate more clearly, consistently, and effectively.
A Business Built Through Creativity and Experience

Long before launching Brand New Promotions, Lara was already immersed in the creative world. He began by building his own clothing line, which eventually opened the door to custom apparel requests from others.
“I originally started in apparel by creating my own clothing line,” he shared. “I was often approached by other people who were wanting me to make custom apparel for them.”
As opportunities grew, Lara gained deeper industry experience by working with an apparel decoration company specializing in embroidery and screen printing. That experience helped him better understand the production side of branding and promotional marketing.
Eventually, he realized businesses needed more than isolated services.
“Most of the time things were fragmented for business owners,” Lara said. “There was a person for custom t-shirts, another one for embroidery, another person that made signs, and someone else that did graphic design.”
That gap inspired him to create a centralized solution where businesses could streamline their branding and marketing needs under one roof. Because the company represented a completely new venture at the time, the name “Brand New Promotions” felt fitting.
“Since it was something brand new that I was starting, I thought it would be clever to name it BRAND NEW Promotions,” he added.
Nearly ten years later, the company continues to evolve while staying rooted in that original purpose.
More Than Merchandise

At its core, Brand New Promotions operates as a marketing partner rather than simply a product supplier.
The company manages everything from sourcing and design to production and delivery, helping businesses maintain consistency across their branding efforts. Whether clients need uniforms, event materials, promotional items, or signage, the objective remains the same: making the process easier and more effective.
“We handle everything from design to delivery,” Lara explained, “ensuring that everything was consistent, quality goods were filtered, and we were all able to save time.”
For Lara, consistency is one of the most important aspects of branding.
“Consistency is key because it builds trust and helps brand recognition,” he said. “People like to know what to expect.”
That philosophy has become increasingly important in 2026, where consumers are exposed to overwhelming amounts of content every day.
“We live in a day and age where we’re consistently being advertised to,” Lara said. “Those that stand out from the competition are those that are able to differentiate themselves.”
Beyond Social Media Noise

While many businesses focus heavily on posting content online, Lara believes effective marketing requires much more than simply staying active on social media.
“The majority of users online doom scroll, so you’re essentially a drop in the ocean,” he said candidly.
Instead, he believes successful marketing begins with intentional messaging, problem-solving, and understanding the customer.
“Effective marketing to me is to have a bold statement, a message that resonates, and solutions for people’s problems,” Lara explained.
This practical mindset also shapes the advice he gives to startups and small business owners. While branding remains important, Lara believes many entrepreneurs place too much emphasis on aesthetics rather than communication and customer value.
“People care about how you can make their lives easier,” he said. “If anything, build your frequency of marketing, deepen your relationships, see how you can add more value to your customer experience.”
Helping Businesses Grow
Over the years, Brand New Promotions has worked with businesses of all sizes — from startups looking for clarity to expanding franchise organizations seeking scalable systems.
One of the company’s standout partnerships involved helping a Texas-based resource center maintain brand consistency as it expanded nationwide through franchising. Brand New Promotions assisted with uniforms, signage, printed materials, franchise packages, and streamlined ordering systems that made operations easier for leadership teams.
“This is what we do best,” Lara said. “Having a resource that can help bring ideas to life and deliver on time is a huge asset for any organization.”
According to Lara, one of the biggest challenges clients face before working with the company is uncertainty.
“They want ‘things’ or know that they need help marketing,” he explained, “they just don’t know where to start or what to do.”
That is where the company’s consultative approach becomes valuable — helping businesses gain clarity on their goals while creating practical solutions that support growth.
The Human Side of Business

Although marketing trends and technology continue to evolve, Lara believes certain business principles remain timeless.
“Our biggest competitors are multi-million and billion-dollar corporations,” he acknowledged. “But what I’ve learned is what matters more to clients is to have their needs understood, valued, to be trusted, and to come through with quality products and deliver when needed.”
Those principles are reflected in the company’s internal culture, which is built around enthusiasm, integrity, and creativity.
“We work with people who have dreams and goals,” Lara shared. “So we want to be people who mirror that energy and excitement to help bring their ideas to life.”
For Brand New Promotions, the relationship between client and company is meant to feel collaborative rather than transactional.
“The fundamentals of a strong partnership is a mutual understanding and respect for the role that each other plays,” Lara said. “If it’s not win-win, I’m not going to make that sort of commitment.”
Looking Ahead
As the marketing industry continues to shift toward digital experiences, automation, and evolving consumer behavior, Brand New Promotions remains focused on helping businesses stay memorable in both physical and online spaces.
But despite all the changes in technology and marketing trends, Lara believes the heart of business still comes down to people.
“I would like them to realize it’s not just what we do,” he said, “but it’s who we are and how we do business that is the biggest benefit to any organization that works with us.”
